WHO WE ARE

Bigger Church, Bigger Difference

We're a group of all kinds of people with all kinds of questions coming together to discover more about Jesus, each other and God's amazing plans for us and our world. We are on an exciting journey along with a number of other churches across St. Helens to get Fit for Mission - a new way of looking at church and mission.

We believe that in Jesus we have life and life in all its fullness, and we enjoy nothing more than to share this good news with others. In a busy and challenging world we come together in a loving, supporting community, not just on a Sunday, but throughout the week. We are part of the Diocese of Liverpool and we are asking God to give us a Bigger Church to make a Bigger Difference in the world. We want to see more people coming to know Jesus and more justice in all areas of life in St. Helens, the UK and the world.

Community is what you will find at St. Andrews. A place to come as you are, to journey together, to be encouraged and learn about discipleship, and we would love for you to join us.

Staying Warm This Winter

From Sunday 8th January 2023, our Sunday gatherings will be taking place in the main hall at the rear of the building to help with fuel economy and to keep us all a little warmer. As a church, we too are affected by the current cost of living crisis and have taken the decision to find ways to minimise our energy costs whilst still providing a warm and comfortable place to worship together. We will look to move back into the main church space in March - April as the weather becomes more mild.

All of our funding comes from personal giving from our members and occasional small grants for specific work. We know these times are challenging for many people, however, if you do feel able to give a little extra to help us with our rising energy costs and to help keep our space warm, you can make a one off donation online by clicking the button below. Thank you.

A Warm Welcome Awaits You

COMMUNITY

Feast

Feast is our community gathering that takes place every Wednesday 5-7pm. Come along and join us to explore what it means to be disciples. We will feast on food, bible and community.

Everyone is welcome, simply come as you are, or why not bring a friend or family member? Community is a big part of what we do here at St. Andrews, and we find there is something special about sharing food together whilst we engage in conversation.

Connect With Us

Sign up to our mailing list to receive regular updates. We won't fill up your inbox, you can usually expect to receive one email per month, and sometimes slightly more at times of year such as Christmas and Easter.
